About Summit Senior Golf of Akron (SSGOA)

Three Divisions accommodate all player abilities from scratch to 34 handicaps.
Fun, competitive, organized golf tournaments for amateurs age 50+.
4 Tournaments are 2 player Point-Quota Modified Stableford format; partners arranged, if necessary; entry fees of $120 per team, per tournament cover green fees, cart fees and prizes.
Target pace of play is 4:15. Tee time preferences of early, middle or late.
Membership card entitles you to discounted green fees w/cart at those courses as
listed on our website.
Season begins on May 7th (A & C Divisions) and May 14th (B Division)
End of season banquet at Guy’s Party Center on Thursday Aug 27, 2026
Jim Fenwick Memorial Individual Division Champions Tournament & Banquet at Ohio Prestwick CC on Monday Aug 31, 2026. To qualify, you must play in at least 3 of the 4 “Point Quota” events. There is a $60 entry fee for this event as well.
